Strategic Operations Associate, US Medical Affairs & IQVIA Health Communications Group
The Strategic Operations role provides critical operational discipline and strategic thinking to US Medical Affairs and the IQVIA Health Communications Group. This position ensures effective execution of strategic initiatives, process optimization, and day-to-day business needs, with an emphasis on enabling collaboration, clarity, and long-term growth. As IQVIA Health Communications Group rapidly evolves through continued expansion and integration, and Medical Affairs continues to serve as a strategic priority for the organization, this role will play a pivotal part in positioning these teams for sustained success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate and manage team recurring forums, including townhalls, leadership meetings, and others, ensuring clear objectives, outcomes, and follow-up
- Liaise with senior leaders across IQVIA, representing the perspective and needs of US Medical Affairs and IQVIA Health Communications Group to ensure alignment and effective collaboration
- Partner with enabling corporate functions (Finance, HR, Marketing) to support reporting, operational success, and remove barriers to execution
- Track all key priorities and outstanding deliverables and ensure follow up
IQVIA Health Communications Group Operationalization & Integration :
Oversee, develop, and facilitate cross-functional workstreams that support the ongoing evolution of the agencies, including shared services, vendors and contractors, marketing, go-to-market, and other priority areasPartner with agency leads to understand agency-specific challenges and needs, ensuring solutions are tailored and actionable while maintaining alignment with overall strategySupport the integration of acquired agencies in partnership with the Integration Project Manager, to help guide functional and cultural transitions and ongoing alignment to IQVIA processes and valuesIdentify and address gaps in the integration process and facilitate a resolutionDrive awareness and visibility of IQVIA's Health Communications Group internally and externally through helping to craft messaging, materials, and communicationsStrategic Initiatives :
Propose, lead, and support high-impact initiatives that advance the priorities of US Medical Affairs and IQVIA Health Communications GroupPartner with senior leaders to refine and implement strategic initiativesMaintain strong communication with go-to-market teams to help them understand IQVIA Health Communications Group and Medical Affairs' unique positioning and value, ensuring alignment on strategy and opportunitiesAnticipate challenges and proactively propose solutions to maintain momentum on critical initiativesStay attuned to the evolving market landscape across the Medical Affairs and health communications industries, bringing forward insights and implications that inform strategic planning and positioningExperience & Skills Required :
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred5+ years' experience in pharmaceutical, consulting, strategy, or business operations rolesDemonstrated success in strategic program management or business operationsExceptional communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling executive-level materials (PowerPoint), facilitate cross-functional meetings, and effectively present to senior stakeholdersAbility to influence and build credibility with senior leaders across functions and geographiesStrong problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities, with ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex initiativesFamiliarity with IQVIA operating models, financial reporting, and go-to-market structure is desirableAbility to quickly learn and adapt in an evolving environment, demonstrating agility in supporting dynamic team and organizational needsPlease Note :
