Job Summary :

The CMT Concrete Lab Technician is responsible for performing laboratory testing of concrete and other construction materials to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements. This role involves preparing and testing concrete samples, recording data accurately, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety and quality control protocols.

Key Responsibilities :

• Check the concrete log for samples delivered from field technicians
• Strip, Mark and store cylinders in correct curing rooms
• Perform compressive strength testing on concrete cylinders
• Operate and maintain testing equipment in accordance with ASTM and AASHTO standards
• Accurately record and report test results in a timely manner
• Ensure lab cleanliness and proper storage of materials and documentation
• Follow all safety protocols and comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., ACI, ASTM, TxDOT)
• Job site visits to pick up cylinders (if needed)

Qualifications :

Must possess or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license
