AERMOR is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to provide comprehensive material handling and logistics support. The individual is responsible for conducting inventory, staging, packing, storage, and shipment of electronic equipment and related materials. This position requires experience operating material handling equipment and maintaining accurate records using computer-based inventory and barcoding systems to ensure accountability, efficiency, and compliance with organizational and DoD standards. This is not a remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform warehouse functions including inventory management, material staging, packing, storage, and shipping of electronic and technical equipment.
- Utilize computer-based inventory and barcoding systems for data entry, material identification, and tracking.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records and assist with reconciliation or cycle count activities.
- Operate motor vehicles and material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move and position materials.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and equipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with documentation.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring packaging, labeling, and documentation meet shipping requirements.
- Organize and maintain warehouse areas to promote efficient material flow and adherence to safety standards.
- Support logistics and maintenance teams by providing timely delivery and staging of required materials.
- Follow established safety and handling procedures for the storage and movement of electronic components and sensitive equipment.
- Assist with documentation, reporting, and audits to ensure compliance with Government and organizational logistics policies.
Qualifications
Two (2) years of warehouse experience, including inventory, staging, packing, storage, and shipping of electronic or technical materials.High School Diploma or GED required; additional vocational or logistics training preferred.Experience operating motor vehicles and material handling equipment in a warehouse environment.Proficiency with computer-based inventory and barcoding systems for material tracking and data entry.Understanding of warehouse safety standards and proper handling procedures for electronic equipment.Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a logistics team.
