Job Description

Job Title : AE 2100D3 Field Service Representative

Working Pattern : Fulltime

Working location : Norway, Norwegian Air Force

As an AE2100 D3 Field Service Representative for Rolls-Royce, you will play a key role supporting the Norwegian Airforce C-130J propulsion system. You will liaise with the customer, being a subject matter expert on technical issues which also includes supporting site visits, engine operation, maintenance, safety briefs field training, accident investigations and in-flight test evaluations.

What you will be doing :

With this exciting opportunity you will work with our customer in Norway and review engineering changes regarding their effect on the product in the field, including maintenance manual updates and coordinating communication plans with Customers on impact to their operations. You will aid on technical issues, to include, written communication, phone calls, and electronic media relating to aircraft engine operations, maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting and logistics support.

Key Accountabilities :

  • Provide assistance on technical issues to include, written communication, phone calls and electronic media relating to aircraft engine operations, Rolls-Royce and Customer databases, diagnostic software (if available), maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting and logistics support.
  • Collaborating with Customer Training Services, developing and conducting supplemental training to maintenance activities through on-the-job training and classroom instruction as appropriate.
  • Supporting Manager(s) in executing AE 2100 Program and Deployed Services responsibilities.
  • Complying with any requirement to relocate assignment as determined by the business and / or the Customer to ensure Rolls-Royce business objectives and contract deliverables are met and Customer operational needs are supported.
  • Providing technical support during conferences and program reviews at the request of Rolls-Royce and / or the Customer.
  • Travelling on short notice domestically or internationally (up to 75%), in support of campaigns, AOG situations and / or Customer requests.

Who we're looking for :

Basic Requirements :

  • An Associate's degree with 4+ years of experience in jet engine maintenance and / or an aviation in-field customer support role OR;
  • A Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in jet engine maintenance and / or an aviation in-field customer support role OR;
  • A Master`s degree with experience in jet engine maintenance and / or an aviation in-field customer support role OR;
  • In lieu of degree 6+ years of experience in jet engine maintenance and / or an aviation in-field customer support role.
  • Live and work in Norway for 3-5 years
  • Preferred Requirements :

  • Prior military experience
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant License
  • C-130J aircraft experience
  • 2100 D3 series engine maintenance
  • Held 2100 D3 International Position
