Physical Therapist - Level I (SNF) - Travel Position

Location : Buffalo, MO

Job Type : Travel Contract

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 4x8s Days

Pay : $2241 / week

Job Description :

We are seeking a motivated Physical Therapist (Level I) to join our rehabilitation team in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. The PT will evaluate, plan, and implement therapy programs to help patients improve mobility, function, and quality of life. The ideal candidate is compassionate, adaptable, and committed to supporting patients in regaining independence.

Key Responsibilities :

Evaluate patients’ physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.

Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and interventions to improve strength, balance, and function.

Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs and mobility strategies.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Document patient progress and update treatment plans as needed.

Adhere to professional, ethical, and facility standards of care.

Qualifications :

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy

Current state Physical Therapist license

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, COVID vaccine, recent TB test

Minimum 1-year PT experience (new grads are welcome as long as Level II)
