Job description

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations on construction sites to ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and labor forces to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met within the designated timeframes.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor compliance with safety regulations and quality control practices.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for communication between project stakeholders including clients, project managers, and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring that expenditures remain within the allotted financial guidelines.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process promptly and effectively.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of successfully managing teams and projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications.
  • Financial judgement to manage budgets and control costs associated with project operations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
