SUMMARY : As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will have the rewarding opportunity to provide exceptional individualized patient care in collaboration with our dedicated nursing team. Your proactive approach to patient care and ability to support residents will be vital to our team’s success.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Patient Care & Service : Assist residents with activities per their individualized care plans, including transportation to activities, facilitating leisure activities, and providing evaluation and reporting. Offer emotional support to residents and their families.

Safety : Help maintain a clean and safe living environment for all residents.

Communication & Documentation : Effectively communicate with families, direct them to the appropriate staff, respond promptly to resident requests, and exchange reports with team members or team leader.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Currently certified in New York State as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Strong customer service and communication skills preferred.

EDUCATION :

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS : CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and / or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; frequent walking, standing, or squatting required.

The listed base pay range reflects the current potential base pay for a successful per diem applicant and may be adjusted in the future. Pay will depend on factors such as experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
