Quality Control / Lab Supervisor

Advantage Resourcing has partnered with a beauty product manufacturer and distributor, and we are seeking a Quality Control / Lab Supervisor to join their team in Lafayette, LA. If you have laboratory experience, experience in cGMP or GMP manufacturing environments, and supervisory experience and are seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity, then we encourage you to apply today!

Pay rate: $28 – $33/hr.
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Monday – Friday

Quality Control / Lab Supervisor responsibilities:

• Assist with the day-to-day operation of the QC Lab
• Ensure that testing of all raw materials and products is performed in a timely fashion to meet production, demand, and sales needs
• Utilize technical knowledge and experience in the modification of existing procedures and design of new procedures in tandem with R&D
• Coordinate in process testing with production
• Coordinate work between in-house resources and contractors
• Prepare material and product specifications in tandem with R&D and QA
• Maintain a department level budget and implement green light savings

Qualifications:

• 5 + years of experience in a laboratory setting
• 3 + years of experience in cGMP or GMP manufacturing environments.
• 1 + years of supervisory experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• MS Office Suite knowledge
• Experience with Oracle a plus
• Comprehensive knowledge of cGMP, FDA Quality System regulations, and GMP
