Senior Accountant

Ouellette & Associates, P.A. is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant, to be based in their Lewiston, ME office with hybrid flexibility option. This position is eligible for partner track consideration, offering a clear path to long-term leadership and ownership opportunity.

Requirements of the Senior Accountant :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree in Taxation or related field is a plus
• 7+ years of experience in public accounting preferred
• CPA certification required
• Experience with preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, tax compliance, and tax planning
• Experience with preparing and reviewing compilations, reviews and audits
• Proficiency in managing and coordinating tax engagements and supervising tax staff
• Ability to research and implement tax strategies
• Excellent communication skills and client relationship management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in tax software, Engagement and Practice Management a plus
