JOB DESCRIPTION

CDL DRIVER CLASS A

Area of Responsibilities and Duties :

• Safely operate a Class A truck with trailer in tow
• Efficiently navigate roadways
• Perform quality control inspections of completed work, identify non-conforming quality issues and effectively communicate them to supervisor
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company according to our high standards
• Problem solve
• Follow checklists and protocols while performing job
• Perform Quality Control check of completed jobs, comparing equipment to work requested on Work Order
• Regularly clean and maintain equipment
• Ensure a safe, organized and tidy workspace
• Support coworkers, able to work as part of a team and get along with co-workers
• Follow all health and safety rules and guidelines, as well as common sense safety practices

Skills and Requirements :

Physical Demands / Abilities performed throughout the duration of the work shift :

Work Environment : Work is performed in a shop; both indoors and outdoors. Activities occur inside and outside and are subject to work environments that are not climate controlled, weather, and hot / cold temperature changes, dirt, dust, soot and possibly mold, loud noise, and ladders to use for high heights. Potential hazards such as moving vehicles, proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, high places, high heat, and exposure to chemicals, atmospheric conditions (e.g. fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases), or poor ventilation, or a workspace may be exposed to smoke residue, mold and mildew, contaminated water, or other unsanitary conditions as well as being in closed quarters / confined spaces (e.g. crawl spaces, small, enclosed rooms, attics, etc.) This is not an all-inclusive list of every job duty affiliated with the CDL DRIVER position and Dallas Trailer Repair Co reserves the right to assign additional tasks and responsibilities as needed
