Healthcare Setting : Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (Stepdown PICU)

Employment Type : Locum tenens (Travel contract)

Start Date : November 17, 2025 (ASAP upon credentialing)

End Date : May 18, 2026

Contract Duration : 26 weeks

Shifts : 3x12-hour night shifts per week (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $3880 - $4160

Unit Details : 24-bed Stepdown PICU, high volume of pulmonary cases

Electronic Medical Record : Epic EMR

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Qualifications

Active Ohio Nurse Practitioner license (required for Ohio healthcare jobs)

Board Certification : Acute Care Certified Nurse Practitioner

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in pediatric critical care or ICU settings

Proficiency with Epic EMR

Skilled in intubation and arterial line placement

PICU Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality care to pediatric patients in a Stepdown PICU environment

Perform advanced clinical procedures including intubation and arterial line placement

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to manage complex pulmonary cases

Work night shifts, including weekends and holidays, as part of a two-APP clinical support team

Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
