About the Clinician's Workday This Level IV trauma center operates with 12-hour physician shifts (6a-6p and 6p-6a) and 15-16 hours of APP coverage. The emergency department sees an annual volume of 20,316 patients, with a 6.3% transfer rate and a 12.6% admission rate. Candidates who are BC / BE in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine are accepted; nonboard-certified physicians must have at least 2,500 hours of experience within the past five years. ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications are required, and the EMR system used is TruBridge.
