• Group Leader – Before & After School Program

• Job Summary :

We are seeking passionate and dependable

• Group Leaders
• to join our Lexington and Winchester teams. Group Leaders lead engaging activities for school-age children while fostering a safe and welcoming environment.
• Work Hours :

Minimum of

• 2 afternoons per week required
• Lexington :
• Monday–Thursday : 3 : 00 PM – 6 : 00 PM
• Friday : 12 : 00 PM – 6 : 00 PM
• Winchester :
• Monday–Friday : 2 : 00 PM – 6 : 00 PM
• What You’ll Do :
• Lead enrichment activities (e.g., arts, music, drama, science, etc.)
• Support children’s academic and social development
• Ensure EEC health and safety regulations are followed
• Supervise and engage with children in both structured and free play
• Communicate effectively with families and co-workers
• Requirements :

Per Massachusetts EEC regulations, candidates must be at least 18 and meet

• one
• of the following :
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree
• and
• 3+ months experience with school-age children
• High school diploma or GED
• and
• 6+ months experience with school-age children (3 months must be supervised in a licensed program)
• 9+ months of experience with school-age children (3 months must be supervised in a licensed program)
• If you do not yet meet the Group Leader qualifications, we still encourage you to apply as an Assistant Group Leader.
• Ideal Candidate Will Have :
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to create a nurturing, engaging environment
• Experience planning or leading group activities
• Dependability and a team-first attitude
• Knowledge of EEC school-age program regulations (preferred)

Job Type : Part-time

Pay : $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
