As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming presence for all visitors and staff. This position involves both patrolling and driving responsibilities, so a valid driver's license is required. Pay Rate : $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Time : Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Sat 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including appropriate emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff, visitors, and patients.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment for all occupants.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist staff, visitors, and patients with directions and inquiries while maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential issues.
  • Assist in access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required by site protocols.
  • Document incidents and maintain detailed logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • An active armed guard card or license is required as mandated by state and / or local regulations.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required as specified by the client.
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and / or military roles is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
