Position Overview :

Join our team as a Factory Commissioning Test Operator, where you’ll play a hands-on role in launching the next generation of light rail vehicles, locomotives, and coaches. You’ll be responsible for commissioning, diagnosing, and resolving issues across complex systems-including electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic components.

What your day-to-day will look like :

• Perform electrical and mechanical commissioning on locomotive and coach cars
• Troubleshoot, document and repair electrical and mechanical failures
• Work with state-of-the-art diagnostic test equipment.
• Understand and comply with company and industry safety standards.
• Communicate with others, verbally and in writing, technical information, job procedure recommendations, and other work-related information.
• Have ability to work independently and among a team with multi-disciplinary backgrounds.
• Read, interpret and understand written or electronic schematics.
• Use PTU’s to troubleshoot various systems onboard rail vehicles.

The base salary range for this position in Lexington, NC is $40,200 - $47,100. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
