Description
Mazak Corporation is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join the Marketing team at our Florence, KY headquarters'. The Marketing Assistant provides support for marketing team, assisting with planning and executing marketing campaigns, support requests from sales and product groups, and overall smooth operation of the marketing department.
Scope and Responsibilities :
Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following :
- Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees
- Assist marketing team in project organization
- Participate in the support of planning and executing marketing and sales campaigns
- Assist in the daily growth and development of campaigns
- Support & Assist in the development of marketing materials, particularly of the website, and sales and product collateral
- Ensure that brand guidelines are followed
- Support development of new website
- Assist in communication with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing programs
- Assist & Support with Sales and collaborate with other internal teams (e.g. product and sales)
- General office assistance with invoices, new vendor forms, and other office needs as required
Education / Certification :
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or similar degree requiredSkills :
One to two years of experience in similar roleExperience / Knowledge with Adobe Creative Suite products such as InDesign, Photoshop & Premier ProExperience with Adobe Experience Manager (for website) or similar, preferredProficient with MS Office SuiteFamiliarity utilizing social media and digital campaigns, for marketing purposesStrong prioritization, organization, and project management skills with emphasis on project completionProven experience working under pressure and motivation to succeed in a competitive environmentAbility to multi-taskEqual Opportunity Employer / Protected Veterans / Individuals with Disabilities
