SCHEDULE & LOCATION

This full-time position works in Encino, CA. Location. Your schedule is typically Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work to keep projects on track. Plus, NO WORK ON SUNDAYS !

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SUPERINTENDENT

You're the conductor of progress, orchestrating construction masterpieces by providing excellent leadership to your competent team. In the field, you're the hero, ensuring our projects meet and exceed quality standards. You're not just building structures; you're crafting dreams, and every day is a thrilling chapter in our success story.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

  • Construction management experience
  • Exceptional communicate skills for coordinating with the construction team, homeowners, designers, and architects
  • Ability to coordinate and manage all on-site activities and resources
  • Confidence in working with building and safety agencies (Malibu, Santa Monica, and LADBS)
  • Familiarity with BuilderTrend software
  • Firm knowledge of electrical upgrades
  • Highly skilled in managing a Gantt chart
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Punctual and willing to be on site until the day is complete
  • Ability to enforce and promote strict adherence to safety regulations and protocols
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the project is constructed in strict accordance with plans and specifications. Adhere to and implement Quality Control on all work being performed.
  • Schedule subcontractors, vendors, and consultants in the critical path to ensure timely completion.
  • Ensure the vendors are fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of work.
  • Communicate with the project team regarding RFIs, change orders, and material submittals.
  • Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions. Maintaining permit cards and stamped plans.
  • Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team for resolution.
  • Maintain a written daily log with photos of activities on the job site.
  • Maintain 3-week look-ahead schedules and work with Project Managers to update schedules and forecast any upcoming delays.
  • Ensure the job site is kept in a clean and organized manner and up to safety standards.
