Roofing Project Manager
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to lead commercial roofing and waterproofing projects from planning through completion. This role is responsible for managing budgets, schedules, crews, subcontractors, and client relationships to ensure successful delivery of high-quality roofing and waterproofing systems. The ideal candidate has deep technical knowledge of roofing systems, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in construction project management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee all phases of commercial roofing and waterproofing projects, including planning, execution, and closeout
- Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resource plans
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to ensure project alignment
- Manage subcontractors and field crews to ensure safety, quality, and productivity
- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues related to delays, materials, or labor
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and manufacturer specifications
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality control checks
- Prepare and present project reports, change orders, and cost tracking documentation
- Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders
Qualifications :
Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial roofing and waterproofing project managementStrong knowledge of roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, BUR, modified bitumen) and waterproofing methodsProficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar)Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skillsOSHA 30 certification preferredValid driver's license and ability to travel to job sitesPhysical & Work Requirements :
Ability to walk roofs and construction sites in various weather conditionsComfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentOccasional evening or weekend work may be required based on project needsBenefits :
