Xcel Energy is seeking high-performing MBA candidates to join our CFO Organization for a dynamic internship experience in Minneapolis MN. This paid internship offers a unique opportunity to launch your career with a Fortune 500 utility leader committed to innovation sustainability and operational excellence.

As an intern youll be embedded within one of our Finance departments supporting key business units across the enterprise. Youll gain hands-on experience solving real business challenges present strategic insights to senior leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive impact.

This position is for Summer 2026. These positions may have the possibility to extend beyond the internships initial term based on the candidates successful performance and Xcels business needs.

Minimum Requirements

• Current first year MBA student or higher with focus in Finance Accounting and / or Corporate Strategy
• Three years of professional experience
• Able to commute to the corporate office in Minneapolis MN
• Able to work full-time during the summer in a hybrid schedule
• Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel
