POSITION SUMMARY
The Amenity Collective is North America’s leading provider of single-source solutions across the aquatics, fitness, and recreation industries. We deliver customized services—staffing, construction, design, consulting, and operations—to supercharge long-term success for clients and their aquatics, fitness, and recreation spaces.
We are looking for a full cycle staff accountant to grow with our businesses. A detail-oriented, team player will complement our accounting team. To be successful in this position, you should be able to roll up your sleeves and dig into the accounting system and learn as much about the business as possible to better support the operations. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Complete full-cycle accounting activities and maintain financial records and general ledger accounts
Be an active contributor to month-end close preparing journal entries and related schedules
Ensure ledger account reconciliations are up to date
Prepare supporting schedules for the auditors
Support the Controller in providing financial analysis of results to our operations
Continuous improvement of financial processes to drive better insight and efficiency
Support the Financial Director and other accounting teammates, as necessary, as the business continues to grow
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
2+ years of accounting experience
Strong understanding of Trial balance with advanced capabilities entering journal entries
Experience with general ledger functions and month-end / year-end close processes
Working knowledge of GAAP & ensuring operations are compliant
Team player mentality
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong numeracy and analytical skills
Good problem-solving and time-management skills
Experience with Workday is a plus
Experience with Salesforce is a plus
Proficient in Excel, with advanced skills
Deadline driven
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS
Full-time position with standard office hours, Monday through Friday.
Occasional overtime may be required to meet deadlines or resolve time-sensitive issues.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The role requires sitting for extended periods and occasional use of office equipment such as phones, computers, and printers.
Occasional lifting of files or materials up to 10-15 pounds may be required.

Compensation
The Staff Accountant has a salary of $60,000 - $75,000 per annum.
