General Dentist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our NEW dental practice located in Middletown, NY!

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. As a Dentist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating oral health issues, while also educating patients on proper dental hygiene and preventive care.

• Duties
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine oral health needs.
• Perform various dental procedures including restorative, endodontic, and preventive treatments.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records using Open Dental software.
• Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment options.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide efficient patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques.
• Skills
• Proficiency in four-handed dentistry to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Strong understanding of dental terminology for effective communication with patients and staff.
• Experience with medical documentation practices for accurate record keeping.
• Knowledge of endodontics to perform root canal treatments as needed.
• Familiarity with infection control measures to maintain a safe clinical environment.
• Ability to utilize software such as Open Dental for patient management.
• Competence in patient assessment techniques to evaluate oral health status.
