REPORTS TO : Manufacturing ManagerCATEGORY : ProductionPAY : $24-25 / hour

JOB SUMMARYPerforms all tasks involved in the production of Cypress Technology products. Incumbentworks on complex assemblies, with minimal supervision. The incumbent must have adetailed understanding of position’s duties and of the technical aspects of the position. Theincumbent can recommend process and / or equipment improvement. Incumbent must becapable of interpreting drawings and overseeing projects from start to finish ensuring theymeet timescale, budget, quality and design requirements. Great communication skills andthe ability to conduct professional meetings and training will play a significant part in thisrole.

JOB REQUIREMENTS• Actively participates in Safety Program• Adheres to all quality assurance procedures• Assist in meeting production requirements• Works overtime as required (sometimes with minimal / short notice)• Participates in process improvement activities• Follows instructions of Management• Responsible for release of new product into production• Manage and meet project milestones related to the supply chain• Responsible for operations programs requiring cross-functional involvement• Coordinate the development and implementation of the MFS plan related to supplychain activities• Strong interdepartmental working relationships• Works very closely with Supply Management team and Production• Ownership of the manufacturing schedule for new products in the pre-releaseenvironment and developments of ramp-up plans• Ensures optimum design for manufacturability and design of Supply Chain in newproducts• Strong technical expertise required in order to influence designs at the conceptualphase• Assist manager with make vs. buy decisions regarding materials• Development of process documentation• Assembly and test process development for integrity, compliance and efficiency• Drive improvement through shared practices and synergies with production• Any other duties and responsibilities as needed

EDUCATION• High School diploma or GED equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred• 2-3 years’ experience in New Product Introduction or Project Management preferred• Minimum of 5-10 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience required

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE• Expert knowledge of assembly hand tools• Expert knowledge of electrical assembly• Self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision• Ability to read, understand and correctly follow prints, drawings, and technicalinstructionsâ €¢ Experienced working in teams or natural work groups• Well versed in structured development and improvement techniques for high quality,high consistency build, test, and order fulfillment processes• Conceptual thinker with excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate ideasacross the various functions within the business

WORKING CONDITIONS• Required to sit for long periods of time and frequent use of hands and fingers, tohandle and feel• Moderate activity, with occasional bending and stooping, standing and / or walking forextended periods• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds while using safe lifting techniques• Speaking and hearing : able to comprehend English language• See and have visual capability : able to see screens, monitors, and environment• Works inside, closely with others• Generally works regular work hours, occasionally works after hours• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to noisy and can be loud• Warehouse / plant climate can be based upon outdoor weather conditions• Must be able to wear required Personal Protective equipment (PPE) for extendedperiods of time
