$40,000 yearly
Responsibilities :
- Ensure dental office infection control policies and safety regulations are met by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use
- Assist dentists and dental hygienists during any procedures or examinations by handing off dental instruments, providing suction, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team
- Meet patients and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during appointment
- Get treatment rooms ready for for examination and procedures by equipping them with necessary sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials
- Schedule appointments for patient care follow up, answer any questions they may have about dental hygiene, and provide postoperative instructions with methods for infection control of the patients’ teeth and gums, after procedures
- Must be responsible and have excellent work ethic. You will be an integral part of our team, therefore we need you to come to work every day and be on time.
Qualifications :
Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification or RDA state license by the Dental Assisting National Board's (DANB)Experience with dental software, updating patient histories, and computer skills are neededCurrent BLS / CPR certification is requiredAssociate’s Degree or a certification from a college or technical school training program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation is required2 years of dental assisting experience as a registered dental assistant or certified dental assistantAbout Company
