The Director of Finance and Administration plays a critical leadership role in ensuring the financial health, operational efficiency, and long-term sustainability of FutureTech Foundation. This position oversees all financial planning, budgeting, and administrative functions while ensuring compliance with organizational policies, grant requirements, and regulatory standards. The Director will also develop systems to support the Foundation’s growing team and expanding projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
Develop and oversee annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely reconciliation of all accounts.
Manage grants, donations, and project-based funding to ensure proper allocation and reporting.
Advise the Executive Director and Board on financial strategy, sustainability, and risk management.
Prepare financial statements and reports for stakeholders, auditors, and funders.
Administrative Oversight:
Oversee administrative systems, policies, and internal operations to improve organizational efficiency.
Support HR functions including volunteer management, payroll setup (as applicable), and compliance.
Implement and maintain effective record-keeping, procurement, and inventory systems.
Coordinate with legal, IT, and operations teams to ensure smooth organizational performance.
Strategic Leadership:
Collaborate with Directors and project leads to align financial planning with program goals.
Lead the development of internal controls, accountability frameworks, and operational best practices.
Contribute to strategic decision-making and sustainability planning at the executive level.
