About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NCC C-EFM required in hand at time of submission; STABLE, CPI, NIH preferred

Must-Have : Strong experience and skillset in Labor and Delivery

Description :

The position is for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse working night shifts.

Candidate should have 1-2 years of experience preferred, but strong skills may allow for consideration with 1 year of experience.

First-time travelers are accepted.

Candidates must possess an active RN license or compact license.

BLS, ACLS, and NCC C-EFM certifications are mandatory upon submission.

STABLE and CPI certifications are preferred but not required.

Work will involve caring for neonates, adolescents, and adults.

Every other weekend and holidays will be required as scheduled.

Floating within the specialty and to mother / baby as needed is expected.

Candidates must be comfortable with all job duties and responsibilities as outlined.

RTO needs to be requested upfront; changes cannot be made post-offer.

Inquiry regarding previous charge experience, patient ratio experience, and charting system experience will be considered but not mandatory.

The nurse should have experience with administration of medications, assessment of patients, and labor processes.

Additional expectations may include education and support for parents when applicable.

Candidates must have experience in a community hospital setting or similar.

The ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary support staff is essential.

All staff members are required to work in all areas relevant to labor and delivery.

Flexibility and adaptability to various situations within the department are important.
