Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring a NY license and Epic EMR proficiency.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
  • Night shift from 7 : 00 pm to 7 : 30 am
  • Assignment length is 13 weeks
  • Care for a diverse emergency patient population
  • Epic EMR experience is required for all candidates
  • No block scheduling is offered
  • More than three call outs in a 13-week contract may result in termination; make up shifts are mandatory and must be completed within 6 weeks
  • RTO (requests for time off) must be submitted during application
  • Travelers cannot submit to more than one position at a time with this client
  • Travel pairs are not allowed
  • Local candidates from specified counties within a 50-mile radius will not be considered

  • Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
  • Certifications must be from AHA or RQI
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR is required
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • US Social Security Number required (Canadian SIN not accepted)
  • Medical flu vaccine exemption only accepted if signed by a licensed professional
