Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Join a dynamic K-12 educational setting in Long Beach, CA, as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist providing leave coverage for the school year on a contractual basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support students communication development through specialized therapy services.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services to K-12 students.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies.
  • Participate in conferences and meetings to discuss student progress.
  • Adapt therapy delivery via teletherapy as needed.

Qualifications :

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist License.
  • Credentials such as CCC-SLP preferred.
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy within educational or healthcare environments.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and school-based caseload management.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across diverse school communities.
  • Position Details :

  • Location : Long Beach, CA (K-12 school setting)
  • Contract duration : School Year (NSY)
  • Work schedule : 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
