Location : Office in Williamsburg, VA

Work Area : Project travel between Norfolk and Richmond, with most work located in Hampton, VA

Compensation : $18–$25 / hour (based on experience)

Position Summary :

We are currently hiring General Laborers to join our growing team. This position involves a variety of hands-on tasks performed outdoors under the direction of a lead worker or job foreman. The role requires physical strength, a safety-first mindset, and a strong work ethic. Projects vary by location, and hours depend on job needs, weather, and season.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Load and unload tools, materials, and supplies at the shop or job site
• Move, carry, build, and dismantle concrete forms
• Operate hand and power tools such as hammers, drills, grinders, and shovels
• Assist with placing and securing rebar or steel mesh in concrete forms
• Support team members in completing project tasks
• Assist during concrete pours—spreading concrete using hand tools, shovels, or rakes
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe job site, removing debris and minimizing hazards

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

• Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Must pass a background check (required for work on government property)
• Basic knowledge of or willingness to learn the safe use of tools and equipment
• Understanding of or willingness to learn safety procedures and hazard awareness
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with a team
• Punctuality and consistent attendance required
• Flexibility to work varying hours and locations depending on project needs
• Experience with concrete work, excavation, carpentry, and reinforcing steel preferred but will train
