Location : Eastern California

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000 per year

We’re searching for an experienced Director of Food and Beverage to join our Resort, guiding culinary and beverage excellence across a historic AAA Four Diamond Resort, signature restaurants, and unique venues. This year-round leadership opportunity combines operational oversight with creative vision, making it both rewarding and impactful. Employee housing will also be provided as part of the package.

Job Qualifications :

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a high-volume, multi-unit food and beverage operation.
  • Prior experience as a Director of Food and Beverage or similar senior role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Restaurant Management, Culinary Certification, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven expertise in hospitality resort settings.
  • Strong financial management skills for budgeting and controlling the annual financial plan.
  • Advanced computer proficiency for POS systems and other food and beverage operations tools.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of and ability to implement AAA Three and Four Diamond service standards.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Experience with staff training, compliance with labor regulations, and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities :

As Director of Food and Beverage in Eastern California, you will :

  • Oversee all food and beverage departments, ensuring adherence to established policies, guest service standards, and financial guidelines.
  • Guide staff selection, training, and development to maintain high productivity and exemplary service levels.
  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership, suppliers, and event teams for daily operations and special events.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and food safety compliance.
  • Contribute to menu design, banquet planning, and cost control measures alongside the Executive Chef.
  • Manage inventory processes, monthly financial reviews, and labor allocations.
  • Work proactively with HR on staffing needs, compliance matters, and employee evaluations.
  • Actively address guest feedback and uphold service excellence.
  • Maintain a supportive, goal-oriented environment for staff within the scenic resort property.
  • Participate in emergency response planning and environmental management policy implementation.
