Compensation :

Competitive per-session reimbursement based on CPT codes. Payment is issued biweekly for services rendered and documentation completed once reimbursed by insurance companies.

Position Overview

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor role for an LPC / LCSW who will provide direct clinical services to adults and / or adolescents with a wide range of diagnoses. You will work independently with flexibility in schedule while collaborating with a supportive multidisciplinary team of psychiatric providers, case managers, and administrative staff.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor / Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Samaria Behavioral Health Center, you will be expected to :

  • Provide individual psychotherapy , group therapy , and / or family counseling to clients with mental health and / or substance use diagnoses.
  • Complete biopsychosocial assessments , intake evaluations, and clinical formulations to determine diagnoses and treatment needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR), including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
  • Address issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, grief / loss, substance use, relapse prevention, and coping skill development.
  • Facilitate structured psychoeducation groups on topics such as anger management, mindfulness, relapse prevention, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and healthy relationships.
  • Support clients in crisis situations , including safety planning and coordination of higher levels of care as needed.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning , clinical reviews, and collaborative case consultation with other providers.
  • Comply with all professional, ethical, and legal standards related to clinical care, documentation, and client confidentiality (HIPAA).

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Clinical experience working with dual-diagnosis or co-occurring disorders populations
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care , motivational interviewing , CBT , DBT , or EMDR
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with organizational protocols
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Comfort with documentation and EHR systems
  • Commitment to culturally competent and inclusive care for diverse populations
  • Qualifications

  • Active LPC / LCSW license in good standing in Arizona
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year post-licensure experience (preferred)
  • Experience treating mental health and / or substance use disorders
  • Must carry current malpractice / professional liability insurance
  • Bilingual (Spanish / English) is a plus, but not required
