Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This contract position offers a unique opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to work in a dynamic setting serving K-8 students. The role is based in Mankato, MN, and involves working across two sites, providing a diverse and engaging caseload.
Key Details :
- Position type : Contract for the current school year (CSY)
- Schedule : 30-32 hours per week, 4 days per week (Monday through Thursday) with flexibility to work Monday through Friday based on preference
- Caseload : K-8th grade students
- Start date : As soon as possible, with a confirmed start by June 6, 2025
- Summer hours : No summer work required
- Renewal opportunity : Possible extension for the 2025-2026 school year
- Candidates : Licensed SLP with CCC, Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) SLP, or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with school or healthcare experience are invited to apply
- Service modalities include in-person therapy across two sites and teletherapy options
Responsibilities :
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to K-8 studentsProvide therapy services to children with speech, language, and communication challengesCollaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to support student progressMaintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulationsParticipate in professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practicesQualifications :
Credentialed SLP with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), CFY candidate, or qualified SLPAExperience working in pediatric, school, or healthcare settingsAbility to manage a varied caseload across two locationsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsFlexibility to work a four-day week with a student-focused approachThis position provides a balanced work schedule with no summer hours and the option to choose a Monday-Thursday or Monday-Friday schedule, catering to individual preferences.
