Job Summary
In this role, you will have the opportunity to :
- Work with multi-discipline teams to develop design materials for project assignments for heavy civil worksprojects such as generation, power infrastructure (transmission, distribution, substations), solar, wind, dams,buried infrastructure, tunnels, etc.
- Perform analysis, design calculations, design sketches, and preparing geotechnical design reports to meetproject requirements
- Perform, coordinate, and manage geotechnical field investigations
- Coordinate, manage, observe, and document geotechnical construction activities such as grouting, groundimprovement, deep foundations, retaining walls, etc.

Key Responsibilities
Focuses on the coordinating internal teams and resources while working to understand client’s interest andneedsDevelop structural technical specifications, plans, and details for projects such as power generation facilities,substations, transmission lines, solar sites, dams, canals, flood control projects, municipal water, wastewater, andpipelinesPlanning, designing, and overseeing geotechnical aspects for projects both in the office and in the field.Be able to travel on field assignments as required. Field time is estimated at 20 and 40%.Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience supporting geotechnical / heavy civil projectsExperience with geotechnical investigations, grouting, ground improvement, deep foundations, and retainingwallsPrefer Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with Emphasis in Geotechnical EngineeringActive Engineering-In-Training (EIT) PreferredMinimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.Minimum of 5 years related work experience.Certifications
Active Engineering-In-Training (EIT) License and actively pursuing Professional Engineering (PE) License
