This position will be based in our West Hartford CT Or Hamilton NJ office. We offer a hybrid work schedule with 4 days in the office; and 1 day remote where it makes sense to do so.

Responsibilities

The Underwriting Analyst is an entry-level position designed for individuals seeking to build a career in medical stop loss insurance underwriting. This role provides foundational exposure to underwriting principles risk assessment and policy evaluation. The analyst supports the underwriting team by gathering data performing preliminary risk analysis and assisting in the preparation of quotes and role is specific to our Captive Underwriting team and presents a unique opportunity for individuals to learn the foundational principles of stop loss underwriting for employers that join a group captive model.

The company offers a competitive compensation plan and robust benefits package for full time regular employees including :

Base Salary Range : $60000 - $70000

Eligible to participate in annual discretionary bonus
