Job Description :

Business Intelligence (BI) Lead / BI Manager to drive enterprise-level data analytics and reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with business acumen to deliver actionable insights that enhance operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. This role requires hands-on experience in data modeling, BI solution design, analytics automation, and team leadership across modern data and cloud ecosystems.

Responsibilities :

Lead and mentor a team of BI developers and analysts to design, build, and maintain enterprise BI solutions.

Define BI strategy, data governance policies, and quality standards aligned with business goals.

Manage project plans, resource allocation, and delivery milestones on time and within budget.

Partner with IT and business leaders to prioritize BI initiatives, manage dependencies, and mitigate risks.

Deliver analytical tools and insights that drive performance improvement and informed decision-making.

Partner with business stakeholders to define KPIs and translate requirements into scalable BI solutions.

Build dashboards and reports that go beyond visualization uncovering trends and actionable insights.

Champion self-service BI through curated datasets, data literacy initiatives, and training.

Prepare, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.

Integrate and standardize data across systems (ERP, CRM, Finance, Operations, etc.) for unified reporting.

Identify and resolve data quality and integrity issues in collaboration with data engineering teams.

Design and develop interactive dashboards and semantic data models using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

Develop star / snowflake schemas and semantic layers to optimize data accessibility and performance.

Collaborate with data engineering teams to enhance data pipelines, APIs, and cloud data models for analytics.

Apply BI DevOps practices (Git version control, automated testing, CI / CD pipelines).

Required Skills & Qualifications :

7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence / Analytics development.

3+ years of experience in team leadership or BI project management.

Advanced SQL knowledge including complex queries, optimization, and performance tuning.

Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker for enterprise BI dashboards and semantic modeling.

Strong data modeling expertise (star / snowflake schema, fact / dimension design).

Experience with modern data warehouses : Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse.

Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for BI deployment and analytics integration.

Scripting experience in Python or R for BI automation; Shell / PowerShell for workflow automation.

Exposure to data governance, compliance (HIPAA, PII, PHI), and role-based access control.

Experience in modernizing BI environments and migrating on-prem BI systems to cloud-based platforms.
