Certified Inpatient Coding Specialist

A company is looking for an Inpatient Coding Specialist (Level-1 Trauma).

Key Responsibilities

Provide coding services, including ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding for multiple specialties

Analyze medical records for accurate code sequencing and assignment

Maintain quality and productivity standards while communicating professionally with clients

Required Qualifications

Must be certified through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P), with a preference for CCS

Minimum of 2 years of coding experience

Advanced knowledge of EMR and billing systems

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook

Must maintain ongoing productivity and quality scores of 95% or higher
