DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide one on one non-medical care to clients in the comfort of their homes
• Follow the client's plan of care which may include the items outlined below:
• Assist with activities of daily living such as dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting
• Provide light housework and meal preparation
• Assist with transfers and ambulation
• Provide companionship, conversation, mental stimulation
• Encourage exercise, hydration, medication reminders
• Accompany client on errands, appointments, doctor visits
• Observe, document and report changes in client's condition

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

• 6 MONTHS of caregiver experience; Certification a plus; higher wages for CNA/LNA. Caring for family members counts as experience!
• Follow verbal/written instructions, as well as, document the services provided in English
• Fingerprint Card
• National background check, employment references
• Drug screen - this is a safety sensitive position under Arizona state law and applicants must pass drug test.
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB Test - If you do not have these we can assist you in obtaining them.
• A valid driver's license, proof of car insurance and a reliable car
