The Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting the organization’s financial planning and analysis (FP&A) efforts. This position focuses on understanding business performance through key operational metrics, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights that guide leadership decisions. The role emphasizes interpretation, analysis, and communication over technical data modeling.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with operations and leadership teams to analyze performance drivers and financial results.
- Develop and maintain recurring analyses and dashboards focused on operational and financial KPIs.
- Investigate variances and provide clear explanations for trends in revenue, margin, expenses, and other key metrics.
- Create and deliver recurring reporting packages for management review, highlighting key insights and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the annual budget, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes with relevant analytical input.
- Communicate financial findings in a clear, concise, and actionable manner to non-finance stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment between operational metrics and financial outcomes.
Requirements :
5 years of experience in FP&A, finance, or a related analytical function.Strong understanding of financial statements, operational metrics, and performance analysis.Proficiency with Excel and business intelligence tools for dashboarding and reporting.Excellent communication skills — able to translate data insights into clear business narratives.Ability to identify trends, investigate root causes, and make recommendations for improvement.Comfortable working with large datasets and recurring analysis but focused on interpretation and storytelling rather than raw data manipulation.Preferred Attributes
Experience in a multi-location or operationally complex organization.Strong sense of curiosity and initiative to dig into “the why” behind performance trends.Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
