Position Summary :
The Imaging Engineer will provide technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for a wide range of imaging equipment across multiple healthcare facilities. This role requires hands-on expertise in CT, MRI, and Cath Lab systems, with a strong ability to adapt to different environments and client needs. The engineer will play a key role in ensuring imaging equipment operates at optimal performance, supporting clinical teams in delivering safe and accurate patient care.
Responsibilities :
Perform installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and repair of imaging systems (CT, MRI, and Cath Lab).Diagnose and resolve system errors and performance issues quickly to minimize equipment downtime.Collaborate with clinical staff and client project management to schedule maintenance and service activities without disrupting patient care.Document all work performed, including service reports, equipment updates, and compliance records.Provide technical training and guidance to site personnel as needed.Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.Support multiple facilities, with travel required to meet project assignments and site coverage.Qualifications :
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or related field preferred; equivalent military or technical training accepted.3+ years of experience servicing imaging equipment (GE and Siemens preferred).Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with CT, MRI, and Cath Lab systems.Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards (e.g., Joint Commission, FDA, HIPAA).Ability to travel and adapt to varying work environments.Excellent communication and customer service skills when working with clinical teams.
