Job Title : Electrophysiology Tech Profession : Radiology / Cardiology Specialty : Electrophysiology Duration : 13 weeks with possible extension Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 8-10 hours Experience : 2 years in the Electrophysiology Lab required. License : State license in hand at the time of application, no exceptions. Certifications : ACLS, NASPE / RCES, or RCIS with EP experience as identified, or registry eligible. Must-Have : - Experience in invasive electrophysiology procedures, including 3D mapping, EP recording systems, and advanced ablation techniques including A-Fib. - Familiarity with ICE procedures and cardiac rhythm management interrogation and programming (supporting multi-vendor devices). - Operation of associated equipment to perform stated tasks. - Familiarity with GE Cardio Lab and / or St Jude Work Mate equipment. Description : Chesapeake is located in the beautiful area known as Coastal Virginia. Chesapeake is an outdoor lover's paradise offering trails for all levels of hikers and over 20 waterways to explore. Candidates will not be considered if there are any license or background hits. EP Tech will work Monday through Friday with no call requirements. Shift length may be 8 to 10 hours, depending on the department needs. The applicant must have a minimum of an Associate's degree, having completed an accredited cardiovascular technology program. Experience in invasive electrophysiology procedures is essential. Candidates should have experience with 3D mapping, EP recording systems, and advanced ablation techniques. Familiarity with ICE procedures, cardiac rhythm management interrogation, and programming is required. Candidates must be knowledgeable in operating the associated equipment to perform the outlined tasks. Experience with the GE Cardio Lab and / or St Jude Work Mate equipment is preferred. EP procedure / equipment and CRM programming experience is an advantage.
