QE Automation Lead

Position Description :

This role will require someone in Pittsburgh PA or Cleveland OH.

Remote work is not an option.

For a leading financial services client CGI is seeking a Quality Engineering lead with excellent hands-on experience in planning and implementing end-to-end testing services. The CGI partner will be responsible for QE deliverables and Automation of UI / API Testing.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

Lead overall test deliverables of assigned project from inception to deployment.

• .Acts Single point of Contact for testing efforts for the assigned module / application.
• .Create Test Strategy and Test Plans and other test artifacts for releases
• .Build and Maintain Selenium / Cucumber / BDD framework automation suite for UI applications.
• .Build and Maintain Karate / Rest Assured automation for APIs.
• .Create and Maintain Automation suites based on Java programming and Object-oriented concepts.
• .Creating simple / medium SQL queries for data validation.
• .Execute the Test cases and publish the reports for each release.
• .Configure JIRA dashboards and filters to provide real-time visibility into test progress and quality status.
• .Maintain constant communication with BAs LOB and other project members including global delivery teams.
