Pay Information $2,420 per week About The Position Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Labor and Delivery Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 hours Experience : Minimum 1 prior travel assignment License : Valid State License required Certifications : AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS, STABLE, NRP, BLS, C-EFM (must register during compliance phase or within the first two weeks of the assignment) Must-Have : Must have high-risk labor and delivery experience Charge experience is required Description : The role involves providing care to women during labor and delivery. The nurse will assist with high-risk deliveries and circulate for C-sections. Experience with recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns is required. Triage experience of obstetrical patients is preferred. The provider will float to similar units as needed. Weekend and holiday coverage is required every other weekend and holiday as needed. There will be a call requirement of 36 hours over a 6-week period. The traveler must be on the premises 45 minutes after receiving call. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1 : 2 nights. No guaranteed set schedule is available. Experience with charting systems is necessary. The working environment includes a short-term acute care facility. The provider will care for neonates and adults. Skills in fetal heart monitoring are essential.
