Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,362 per week in Keene, NH

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Critical Care Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Shift Hours per Shift : 12 hours Experience : Minimum of 1.5 years of recent equivalent experience License : State RN License or Compact License (Proof of State Residency Required) Certifications : BLS, ACLS Must-Have : CCRN Preferred Description : ICU Registered Nurse needed for night shift. The unit for critical care nursing is a 10-bed suite. Focus is on caring for and supporting patients and their families. Utilizes advanced technological systems and tools to monitor and treat critical illnesses. Each patient room is equipped with an electric therapeutic bed. Emergency call systems and cardiac monitoring with additional monitoring modules are available. There is access to other critical care equipment as needed. Patient population includes critically unstable patients with various conditions. Goal is to provide optimum 24-hour critical care nursing to medical / surgical patients. This includes those demonstrating unstable vital functions requiring specialized treatment and supportive measures. Rapid recognition and treatment of life-threatening complications is emphasized. Total patient care is a priority. RN patient ratios are 2 : 1 or 1 : 1, depending on patient acuity, isolation needs, and RN experience. Night shift requires 3 shifts per week. There is an expectation for rotating weekends and holidays. Candidates must have experience in telemetry.
