Read Alliance Teen Leader

The Southeast Delco School District is recruiting Teen Leaders to participate in the Read Alliance Program

This is for the 2025-2026 school year.

What is the Read Alliance Program?

READ is an afterschool program offering one-to-one tutoring?in reading for kindergarten, first, and second-grade students.

Teens are recruited, trained,and paid for their work as tutors, gaining valuable professional skills in the process. Additionally, teachers are recruited and trained in a valid phonics curriculum and assessment tools. READ serves as a valuable complement to the efforts of teachers during the school day, where individualized literacy support can often be challenging to provide to each child.

The program starts on November 11, 2025

Program time committement is 3 : 45 p.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursdays (after school)

Pay : $11.00 an hour

This is a part-time position with no benefits. This application is open to internal Academy Park High School Students only.
