Med / Surg RN Job Details – Dakota Dunes, SD Location : Dakota Dunes, South Dakota 57049 Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 15 / 2025 – End : 3 / 15 / 2026) Healthcare Setting : Recovery Room, Medical-Surgical Unit Shift : 12-hour night shifts (6 : 00pm – 6 : 00am) Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Float Requirement : Float as needed within your clinical skillset Employment Type : Travel nursing contract Estimated Weekly Salary : $2100-$2250 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Dakota or compact state BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required At least 1 year of recent Med / Surg nursing experience Experience in Ortho-Total Joint Spine post-surgical care preferred Previous travel nurse experience is a plus Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to post-surgical patients in the Recovery Room and Med / Surg unit Monitor and assess patient status, responding promptly to changes in condition Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes Float to other hospital units as required within your nursing skillset Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital policies and procedures Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families Apply now to join our healthcare team in Dakota Dunes, SD, and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
