Transportation Engineering Internship

Dewberry is currently seeking a Transportation Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 to join our Transportation group in Boston, MA. The position allows for exposure to multiple engineering disciplines including roadway design, structural design, drainage design, traffic engineering, and transportation planning. Responsibilities

• Developing and evaluating engineering solutions
• Preparing design calculations, quantities, cost estimates, and drawings
• Assisting with various studies and documenting results
• Adherence to assigned project schedules and budgets
• Writing internal communications
• Performing other duties as assigned

Program Information

During the summer intern program, interns gain hands-on project experience, develop technical skills, and put their classroom knowledge into action. Our interns are assigned meaningful work and are given the opportunity to work on projects similar to what they would be engaging with as a full-time employee.
