" Drive" Change in Your Community as a Transporter for Our Wellbeing Center
Schedule : This is a PRN position. The schedule is Monday-Friday split shift. Occasional Saturday availability is needed.
Join Compass Health Network as a Transporter and play a vital role in supporting our mission by ensuring safe, respectful, and timely transportation for those we serve. Safely transport clients, following all traffic laws and safety proceduresPlan efficient pick-up and drop-off routes for maximum efficiencyKeep agency vehicles clean, fueled, and properly maintainedComplete routine vehicle inspections and maintenance logsMaintain professional, respectful communication with passengers and staffRespond calmly to emergencies or crises, offering support as neededSupport Wellbeing Center operations, including assisting with day-to-day needs and conflict resolution when necessaryCommunicate updates regarding members with supervisors and staff as appropriateWork in various weather conditions and flexible scheduling situationsFollow all agency guidelines regarding van use, documentation, and confidentialityRequirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
High School / GED preferredWORK EXPERIENCE / TRAINING / ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to possess cognitive, organizational, and emotional maturity to deal effectively with multiple stressors requiredAt least one-year experience in customer service or health-related field preferredExperience with management of transportation programs preferredExcellent communication skills and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) preferredLICENSURE / CERTIFICATION
