Physical Therapist Assistant

Our client is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide restorative and rehabilitative services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA will work in both center-based and home settings to help participants maximize independence, safety, and functional ability, while collaborating with other members of the rehabilitation team to implement care plans.

Essential Job Duties :

• Administer treatment programs as established by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist with vital signs, range of motion, and strength testing.
• Coordinate with rehabilitation team members to carry out individualized treatment plans.
• Handle scheduling of treatments, clinical visits, and billing.
• Deliver and document interventions including active / passive exercise, gait training, ADL functional training, and treatments such as massage, heat, ultrasound, hydrotherapy, or electrical stimulation.
• Participate in end-of-life care coordination as needed.
