Job Title : Ophthalmologist
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and diagnose eye diseases.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with various eye conditions.
- Perform surgical procedures, including cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, and refractive surgery.
- Prescribe medications and corrective lenses as needed.
- Educate patients and their families about eye health and preventive care.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in ophthalmology and related technologies.
- Collaborate with optometrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree with a specialization in Ophthalmology.Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state.Board certification in Ophthalmology is preferred.Strong diagnostic and surgical skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.Benefits
