Job Title : CT / X-Ray Technologist

Location : Black Hills, SD

Job Type : Full-Time | 40 hrs / week (Includes call & weekend rotation)

Pay Range : $27.36 - $33.16 / hr (Based on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT / X-Ray Technologist to join our imaging team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients - from routine exams to emergency care - in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray and CT scans (both emergent and routine).

Adjust techniques to optimize image quality while maintaining patient safety (ALARA standards).

Process and upload images into PACS for radiologist review.

Follow radiologist protocols to ensure timely and accurate exams.

Assist patients with contrast media for CT exams.

Schedule imaging appointments (X-ray, CT, MRI, US, DXA, Holter Monitor).

Maintain imaging equipment and adhere to radiation and patient safety protocols.

Provide friendly, compassionate customer service to patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (R.T.(R)(ARRT)).

CT certification or eligibility (preferred).

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT or X-ray technologist.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Must have or obtain BLS certification within 90 days of employment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care.

Technical Certification Bonus : Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
