Quality Manager
Prent Corporation has been the world leader in custom thermoformed packaging serving the Medical, Electronic and Consumer industries. The Quality Manager ensures company quality policies and objectives are followed and maintains ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certifications. They lead Quality Engineers to build strong customer relationships and improve quality performance. The role manages customer audits, complaints, and corrective actions while tracking key quality metrics. They also promote continuous improvement and a strong culture of quality across the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Ensure company quality policies, objectives, plans are implemented.
- Assist in maintaining ISO9001 and ISO13485 registrations.
- Direct the Quality Engineers at Prent Janesville helping to develop and foster strong customer relationships with key partners.
- Work closely with all areas of the business to understand customer value, and that we continue to delivery that value right and on time.
- Drive critical Business projects and initiatives that move the business forward.
- Work with other QA division leaders to create a consistent quality experience across regions.
- Coordinate customer quality requirements and customer audits as necessary.
- Manage and drive improvement on customer complaints and CAPAs by ensuring sufficient root cause analysis and quality at the source removal of issues.
- Track and analyze KPIs for the department and organization to help drive quality.
- Train and mentor the organization of CI and Quality techniques to create a culture of quality that involves the whole organization.
- Continually review and recommend changes to the organization and department based on industry best practices, technology, and techniques.
- Coordinate Prent process improvement / preventative action program.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Need :
Four year degree, including coursework in math, statistics, and quality or equivalent experience.5+ years Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering experience with demonstrated abilities in process capability analysis, Lean Six Sigma, SPC, and ISO standards with management experience.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability and willingness to travel to and work as needed at other North American plant locations.Strong leadership skills and abilities.What You'll Receive :
